Discover Cala Santanyí: A Serene Beach Near Cala Figuera
Located just 3km away from Cala Figuera in Mallorca, Spain, Cala Santanyí offers a picturesque retreat for beach lovers. To reach this hidden gem, follow the scenic main road that leads to Santanyí.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of this dreamlike beach, which is gently nestled amidst pine trees. Despite being adorned with hotel and apartment complexes, the lush greenery ensures that the idyllic panorama remains undisturbed.
Although the appeal of Cala Santanyí is undeniable, it tends to attract a significant number of visitors, causing it to be somewhat crowded at times. However, if you venture to the western edge of the bay, you'll be rewarded with the sight of the famed natural wonder - rock Es Pontas. This remarkable rock bridge, shaped over time by the powerful surf, is a popular subject for photographers.
Cala Llombards
The neighboring bay of Cala Santanyí can only be reached via a detour via Santanyí, and therefore probably not quite as well visited as Cala Santanyí. On the sandy beach, which is about 60m wide, there is a bar for refreshments and a parasol rental for shade.
Cala S'Amonia and Caló d'es Moro
Shortly before Cala Llombards, a small road branches off towards the coast, leading to Cala S'Amonia, which can only be reached by stairs. Since it is not signposted, the enchanting bathing bay is usually almost deserted in the low season.
Caló d'es Moro, just after the descent on the left, is also worth a detour with its small sandy beach and rugged coastline. On summer weekends during the high season, there is unfortunately often a lack of space in the tiny bays. Infrastructure is not available at either of the beaches.
